Quick answer

Michelangelo is Hisential's most-chosen tier - 65 biomarkers building on Picasso with a choice of one ultrasound scan from six (thyroid, KUB, scrotum/breast, prostate/pelvic, hepatobiliary, or bone density), hsCRP cardiac-inflammation marker, hepatitis C antibody, plus hand-grip strength and basic hearing assessment. Ideal for adults 35-55 wanting genuinely comprehensive screening, reviewed by our MMC-registered medical team and coordinated by a Personal Health Concierge.

How to prepare

Before your visit

  • Fast 8-10 hours before your appointment - Michelangelo adds hsCRP and hepatitis C antibody to the panel; both read most reliably on a fasted sample.
  • If your chosen ultrasound is pelvic, KUB, or prostate, drink 750ml of plain water about an hour before your slot and hold off urinating - a full bladder is essential for those scans.
  • If your chosen ultrasound is thyroid or breast, wear or bring a loose top that buttons or zips at the front.
  • Skip alcohol for 24 hours and intense exercise for 12 hours - both transiently elevate hsCRP and skew the cardiac-inflammation reading.
  • Allow about 2.5 hours on site to fit the ultrasound, bloods, ECG, hand-grip and hearing tests, plus your doctor consultation.
On the day

What to expect during your visit

  1. 1Concierge check-in confirms which of the six ultrasounds you have selected and reviews any prep status (e.g. bladder fullness for pelvic scans).
  2. 2Biophysical station: blood pressure, BMI, body-fat, and visual acuity.
  3. 3Hand-grip dynamometer test (a validated proxy for whole-body muscle reserve and frailty risk) and a quick pure-tone hearing screen.
  4. 4Phlebotomy and urine: a single draw covers the full 65-biomarker Michelangelo panel including hsCRP and hepatitis C antibody.
  5. 5Resting 12-lead ECG, chest X-ray, and your selected ultrasound scan performed by the sonographer.
  6. 6Doctor consultation: physical exam plus a same-day discussion of vitals, ECG, X-ray and the sonographer's preliminary ultrasound impression.
  7. 7Concierge wrap-up: results-review consult scheduled and any specialist referral (e.g. cardiology for an hsCRP flag) booked before you leave.
Results

How your results are delivered

Lab results typically return within 2-3 working days; the formal radiology report on your ultrasound usually arrives within 1-2 working days. Your Personal Health Concierge collates labs, imaging, and the hand-grip/hearing data into a single report and books a results-review consultation that places your hsCRP cardiac-inflammation reading in context with the rest of the cardiovascular panel. Any onward referral - cardiology, endocrinology, urology - is arranged on your behalf rather than left to you.

Choosing your tier

Why Michelangelo vs. neighbouring tiers

Michelangelo is the inflection point - it is where most patients aged 35+ settle. If you want 2 or 3 ultrasounds, Vitamin D, or the β-hCG cancer marker, Van Gogh (RM 1,680) or Da Vinci (RM 2,199) are the next steps. If you want hormonal and longevity depth instead, see Bernini (RM 1,800).

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about the Michelangelo package

Clear answers, written by our clinical team. Tap any question for its direct permalink, or reach out to your Personal Concierge for anything else.

  1. Which ultrasound should I pick with Michelangelo?

Our doctors will guide you based on your symptoms, family history, and findings from prior screenings. Common picks: scrotum or prostate ultrasound for men over 45, breast or pelvic ultrasound for women, hepatobiliary if you have liver enzyme history, or BMD if you have osteoporosis risk.

  2. What is hsCRP and why does Michelangelo include it?

High-sensitivity C-reactive protein measures low-grade systemic inflammation - an independent cardiovascular risk marker. It catches risk that a normal cholesterol panel can miss, which is why we include it from Michelangelo upwards.

  3. How is Michelangelo different from Picasso?

Michelangelo adds 1 of 6 ultrasound scans, hsCRP cardiac inflammation, hepatitis C antibody, hand-grip strength test, and a basic hearing test. The biomarker count rises from 62 to 65.

  4. Why is Michelangelo the most-chosen package?

It is the smallest tier that includes both imaging choice and inflammation markers. For most adults over 35, that combination catches more than 90% of early-warning patterns that an entry-tier panel would miss.

  5. Can I add a second ultrasound to Michelangelo?

Yes, as a paid add-on quoted before the scan. If you know you want two or more scans, Van Gogh (RM 1,680) is usually better value.

  6. Is Michelangelo suitable for women?

Yes. Female patients get CA125 in the cancer panel and can pick breast or pelvic ultrasound. The package is fully gender-tailored - your concierge will run through the gendered options when you book.
