Skin Boosters for Men in Kuala Lumpur

Hyaluronic acid and polynucleotide skin boosters that hydrate the dermis, refine texture and soften fine lines without changing the shape of your face. The foundation that makes Botox and filler look their best.

Quick answer

Skin boosters are superficial injections of HA or polynucleotide formulations placed in a fine grid across an area (cheek, under-eye, neck, hands) to hydrate the dermis and support collagen. Tiny bumps for a few hours, then a short course of 2-3 sessions, then maintenance every 4-6 months.

What boosters actually do

Boosters are not fillers. They don't add volume or change face shape. They hydrate the dermis from within and support fibroblast activity and collagen production. The result is skin that looks more refined, holds light better, and creases less in fine-line areas.

They sit underneath the rest of your aesthetic plan as the foundation that makes Botox and fillers look better.

Where they work best

Cheek and under-eye for dehydrated, dull or crepey skin. Neck and hands for ageing zones men routinely forget. Forearms in selected cases. We avoid areas where the issue is volume loss or muscle movement - those need filler or Botox, not boosters.

Course and maintenance

Typical protocol is 2-3 sessions about a month apart, then maintenance every 4-6 months. Tiny raised bumps at each injection site for 4-12 hours and mild evening redness - back to work the next morning. No exercise or sauna for 24 hours.

Frequently asked questions

Clear answers, written by our clinical team. Tap any question for its direct permalink, or reach out to your Personal Concierge for anything else.

  1. How are boosters different from fillers?

Boosters hydrate the dermis and improve skin quality but don't add volume or change face shape. Fillers restore structural volume. They work well together.

  2. How long until I see a difference?

Skin starts looking better after the first session; the full effect of a course builds over 4-8 weeks.

  3. Is there real downtime?

Tiny bumps for a few hours, mild redness the same evening. Back to work the next morning.

  4. How often do I need them?

Initial course of 2-3 sessions about a month apart, then maintenance every 4-6 months.

  5. Who performs the injections?

Every injection at Hisential is performed by an MMC-registered doctor with LCP.
